A Clinical Investigation: Study on Psychosocial Characteristics, Social Support and Intervention Strategies of Outpatient Cancer Pain Patients

Background and Objective: The presence of pain in cancer patients is a prevalent concomitant symptom, exerting significant impacts on their physical, psychological, social functioning. However, the psychological aspects are often overlooked. This study aims to explore factors influencing provision support for experiencing cancer-related while proposing intervention measures enhance treatment compliance, confidence levels, overall quality life. Materials Methods: According inclusion exclusion criteria, total 108 with moderate severe advanced who had received outpatient analgesia at least one month were selected as subjects. characteristics these further examined using Self-Rating Symptom Scale (SCL-90) Social Support Rating (SSRS). compared national norms. Results: score SCL-90 was significantly different from that domestic norm (P 0.05). Conclusion: Patients more vulnerable physical symptoms, distress, lack support, other contributing factors. Implementing standardized protocols can effectively alleviate symptoms also emphasizing importance psychosocial interventions address negative emotions support.
